I thought you might like an update on the chicks, who are doing very well! They are really big now, especially their feet, and are growing lovely wings and tails. They love to perch on the edge of the brooder and watch what’s going on in the classroom and they eat and drink a lot. I am leaving the light off more and more as they were getting quite hot and panting. I’ve been turning it on at night though. They seem comfortable with this arrangement, so if you think it’s ok then I’ll carry on like that.
